1. Be respectful.
Treat everyone with kindness: no toxic behaviour, bullying, or drama.
2. Respect the gear.
Whether it's yours, borrowed, or on display - ask before touching someone else's setup.
3. Keep it era-appropriate.
We love retro. Bring your XP or 98 machines where possible. If you're new or need help, just ask - we're happy to get you sorted.
4. Don't be that guy/gal.
No cheating, griefing, or trying to win at all costs. It's about nostalgia and good vibes, not e-sports glory.
5. Be cool with setups and downtime.
Old machines and games can be finicky. Be patient and lend a hand if you can. Sometimes the LAN is half gaming, half troubleshooting, and that's part of the charm.
6. Ask before inviting others in person.
We're open to new members, but want to keep things balanced and safe. Just give the host a heads-up before bringing a mate.
7. Basic hygiene is appreciated.
We love retro games, but let's keep it fresh! Shower, deodorant, and maybe a backup shirt. No one wants to feel like they've walked into a smash tournament.
8. Have fun and help others have fun too.
Whether it's a quick game of Quake or an all-night Diablo II session, the goal is to enjoy it together.
